Puffin Hydrotherapy Pool makes a splash on the Saturday Drop In
On this week's Saturday Drop In, Shannon and Tom were joined in the studio by John Maxwell Vice-Chair of the Puffin Hydrotherapy Pool.
Since 1992 the hydrotherapy pool, based in Dingwall, has provided the Ross-Shire and wider Highland Community with access to a facility that compliments regular physiotherapy to alleviate a variety of physical problems, particularly arthritic and neurological ones.
The pool is fully accessible to those with additional needs from public access, changing facilities and the pool itself.
During the show, John explained the benefits of Hydrotherapy, the process for how to access the pool and the benefit to the wider Highland community.
The Puffin Pool is a registered charity and welcomes donations to support the service and volunteers to help running services.
The charity raises fund through it's shop located on Tulloch Street and in events such as the annual fun run!
